Custom orders welcome. - top - about I am a Yarn maker & designer interested in the flux between craft & art of handspun yarn. Handspun yarn designs are made in Limited Editions or Series. Working predominantly in Certified Organic Australian merino wool, other raw fibres are sourced from around the world and prepared & dyed by hand. My palette is inspired by the colours of the inspirational Australian landscape. With a BA(Visual Arts) photography major in 1995, interest in textiles rekindled during early motherhood. I enjoy pushing my own creative limits when spinning each new skein, accentuating the unique, ecclectic qualities of my art yarn designs. I instruct creative spinning workshops in Australia and have been selling yarn & fiber creations on etsy.com since 2006. - top - |
