Landscape Batts© ~ Australian merino & animal fiber blends..
Landscape Batts are inspired by the vast & colourful Australian landscape. Suitable for spinning & feltmaking, batts may be wet or dry-felted as an instant background for a felt picture. The textural fiber combinations make these artistic batts exciting to spin, with some producing stripe effects.

Contents: mostly merino merino & recycled silks.

duoTone Wilde Fiber Batts:
mixed media batts for striping or candystripe effects
Available in two styles:
Candy (pictured center & right), are blended for candy striping effects in yarn.
Striping (pictured left) can be split & used for colour sequences or stripe effects.
Specially carded local merino with a wilde mix of media. A whimzical array of mixed-media fibers dyed & blended by hand & once carded for WOW factor!

Pinata Batts are our whimsical Treasure Batts with an extra surprise inside. Best coined "anything goes".. recycled fibery treasures all carded up into an OOAK batt, rolled around a mystery surprise for your spinning delight!

machine washable merino wool that does not wet felt!
Genius! you can toss your handknits in the wash! Perfect for socks, baby wear & garments that are best machine washed & easy on mama.
This fiber will not wet felt. May be dry needle felted.

Spinning fiber
Organic Australian Merino is now our base fiber. We also use a variety of farm friendly fiber and various quality recycled, millend textured materials in our handcrafted products. Please see store for current listings.
About Organic wool:
Certified Organic Australian Merino, 19.5micron + 21.5micron tops have been grown & processed free from harsh chemicals from happy Australian sheep to our door. Our superior dye method ensures there is minimal residue left on the fiber from our hand dye process.
Organic wool provides beautifully soft hand, a next-to-skin softness even the fussiest of kiddies are happy to wear these woollies, & that's gotta be a plus!
About Greener Shades, Heavy-metal free dyes:
Greener Shades(TM) is a non-hazardous, non-chrome, low impact, heavy metal-free acid dye for use on silk, wool, nylon, or any animal fiber. Formulated without the use of hazardous metals, these dyes provides superior light and wash fastness without relying on metal compounds to achieve bright and beautiful colors. Greener ShadesTM are of superior quality, exhaust well, and have level performance when mixed with each other.
